Privacy Policy

Saynso is a social app for real conversations — short posts (sayns) and live audio rooms (campfires). This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We’ve kept it in plain English on purpose.

What we collect

• Account information. Your email address, username, display name, and any profile details you add (photo, bio). If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the name and email your provider shares based on your settings.
• Content you create. Your sayns, replies, images, direct messages, and your participation in campfires (for example, which rooms you host, speak in, or listen to). Campfire audio is transmitted in real time to power the live room.
• Usage data. Basic information about how you use the app — device type, app version, crash logs, and interaction data (like which features you use) — so we can keep Saynso fast and reliable.

How we use it

• To provide the service: your feed, threads, campfires, DMs, notifications, and search.
• To personalize your experience, like surfacing conversations you’re likely to care about.
• To keep the platform safe: enforcing our rules, preventing spam and abuse, and moderating reported content.
• To communicate with you about your account and, if you opted in, product updates.
• To understand what’s working and improve the app.

We do not sell your personal data, and we don’t show you third-party ads.

Third parties we rely on

Like most apps, Saynso runs on infrastructure operated by other companies. These providers process data only to deliver their service to us:

• Hosting and databases that store your account and content.
• Real-time audio infrastructure that powers live campfires.
• Sign-in providers (Apple, Google) if you choose to use them.
• Email delivery for account and waitlist emails.
• Analytics and crash reporting to help us fix bugs and improve the app.

How long we keep your data

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If your account is inactive for an extended period, we may delete it after notifying the email on file.

Deleting your account and data

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app (Settings → Account → Delete account). Deletion is permanent: it removes your profile, sayns, replies, and messages from our systems. You can also email us at richard@saynso.com and we’ll take care of it for you.

Children

Saynso is not intended for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child is using Saynso, contact us and we’ll remove the account.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we’ll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect.
